If going to 9 games it’s not that big a deal. You are still going to play everyone in a 2 year period. Going to get to play teams like AM, Auburn and Ole Miss more often which I like.

Frankly, SEC manipulation be damned, I will never care enough about South Carolina or the “town” of Columbia to consider them a rival of any sort.

A game every other year isn’t a rivalry and cannot ever become a rivalry. It’s too infrequent.

This expansion just sucks. If there’s more than 12 teams in a conference it just seems kind of pointless to even have a conference. I guess 14 can work but it’s still too many.

That is what I had predicted, but I don't think there is much difference in the level of competition. We have played Kentucky over 100 times and thought that might have been a good reason for it to be them.

It does make more sense, but I guaran-damn-tee you that Nick Saban and other coaches have whined their heads off behind closed doors about Tennessee getting Candy and UK as being “unfair.”

South Carolina? My grumpy old man take is that I'd hardly notice if they transferred to the ACC.

Bama and Vandy are sound. I'd love to trade South Carolina for Kentucky or Auburn.
