You can't tell me the coaches really thought Quinten Dormady was a better fit than Jarrett Guarantano. No doubt in my mind we would have beat Florida.

Yeah, they've never scored a D1 TD with JG at QB but he'd beat Florida.

Get another drink on me

Tennessee Offense is nothing but a HOT MESS! Almost 12 Quarters...THREE FULL GAMES WORTH without a touchdown! QB doesn't matter!

How many sacks have been avoided and plays made against Bama today. His arm isn't as good at QD, but it isn't much worse. JG gives us a better chance at beating teams. Fact

Not even a good opinion. Kelly gives us a better chance, a different offensive scheme might give us a better chance, but the true best chance at QB to help us win might have been starting one and using the other as a Change of pace - and then go with the one who had better flow in that game. (Much like Randy Sanders best year as OC - with 2 freshman QBs. The starter usually proved to be the worst choice but the other guy picked us up.

But I won’t state that as a fact because we will never know. Our staff is too stubborn to try something not on the chart

JG has fostered no TD’s in 6 quarters. That’s not a knock on him but ourboffense sucks because we have zero receivers. It’s not like JG is running all over defenses.

10+ sacks thru 6 quarters say otherwise. JG is taking no risks. Atleast QD did.

However, if our receivers would not drop half of the balls they, QD and JG look a lot better.

Neither one of our QBs has done anything. They've been hurt by terrible coaching and the fact that our receivers don't seem any good. Still, how do you go two/three games without even targeting Calloway or throwing to your TEs, as we did? I'd say about 60 percent of the problem is crap coaching, and the rest lack of talent.

He’s not being coached

I'll be that guy. JG is far too raw to be playing. He's got promise written all over him, but he needs A LOT of coaching to get there. I avoided the USCe game completely and was avoiding this one until I got texts about us keeping it close. The last 10 minutes of the 2nd quarter showed me a qb that has made extremely little improvement since we first saw him. That's on the coaches, but it still sucks to see.

I still think our best chance to win with these players is QD in a pro set. Of course, Butch would never do that and our TEs are too hurt right now.
