Are the upper level seats ok? Or is it worth the extra costs for lower level seats? Thanks in advance for the response

In Neyland, the stadium is pretty vertical, so I've never really minded sitting upstairs much. In some ways it's better for watching plays develop if you like to watch something other than where the ball is.

I agree. The upper deck at Neyland is not bad.

I like the corners in the top the best. I get seats under the "new" covered section. xx great seats to see everything.

Have sat in zz a couple of times and loved the view. As others have said, one can see the plays develop quite well.

I always liked sitting in the upper deck in Neyland along the sidelines. You are really close to the field compared to other stadiums. Even in the end zones you were close enough to read the numbers except for the opposite end of the field. The other thing about the endzone upperdeck seats is that you see the holes open up in the line and receivers breaking open.

I sat in KK for 12 years and will never forget seeing a slight hole in the line and a guy by the name of Jimmy Streater streak through for a 70 yard sprint to the endzone. Also remember a rainy homecoming game when Memphis High put 11 men on the line of scrimmage and UT trap the center of the line to see Johnny Jones pop through to embarrass the Tiger High defense.

It has it advantages except for the corners.

They also make the players look about 3ft tall. Me personally I would rather watch at home than be in the upper deck unless it was my first game

Only game I've ever been to was the Georgia game last year, watched Bray's thumb smash into that helmet and it sucked. I'm going to every home game this year reppin in the student section. Hopefully it goes better than the last time

Never sat in the upper deck. We walked up there before the game once and i remember being surprised, and a little freaked out, at how vertical it was.

Sat in yy last year for lsu and loved it. The seat backs were way better than the bleachers. Also sat under the jumbotron for homecoming and was pleasantly surprised. Mostly i get to go with my father in law when his wife doesnt want to. He sits in x3 a little over halfway up right on the aisle. Pretty good seats, but upper deck isnt too far behind. Especially on the covered side opposite the jumbotron.

There are no bad seats :) last year I sat on the 2nd row in the upper level on the 45 and they were some of my favorites ever. We could see everything.

We last year sat in the Z12-13 and Y12-13 sections then to get out of the sun, went to the ZZ and YY sections. The view was fine,we actually opted to stay in those seats since no one showed up to claim then. Between the fine view and the jumbotron, we were happy being there. One thing is I found why a friend of mine says she can't sit up there. It's pretty vertical and if you misstep, falling is easy. My friend gets vertigo she says and I can imagine why Doesn't bother us and again the view is nice, easy to see the players. I was told beforehand I'd need binoculars. False! Could see very well without them.

Will someone please tell me how section Y9 is? I will be in Y9 row 4 this year and I'm just curious how the fans are and how good the view is. I appreciate your help. Thanks.

The upper deck is where I like to sit. It's easier to see plays develop and the atmosphere is great. It is steep though. You get the feeling if you trip coming down, you'll end up on the 50 yard line.
