Syracuse's QB just took a clean helmet shot to the stomach. He might be down for the count... TKO.
That will make you think twice about standing in their trying to complete a pass on 3rd and 9. He might make some bad throws down the line because he's afraid to get hit.
And Northwestern's punt returner just had another 52 yard punt return.
Syracuse just threw a pass to the runningback that was almost a straight line but it was slightly backwards. Everyone thought the play was over and the NW guy picked it up to toss the ball to ref while both teams were standing around. A couple Northwestern guys were telling him to run, he started to but then stopped because he thought it was dead. He found out the play was still alive and was able to return it for a touchdown.
Not really giving Syracuse enough credit here though; they did start out like 5-2 last year (& stomp WVU) before injuries/depth caught up with them in the second half of the season

I think once you get up 35-13 with a couple minutes left in the 3rd quarter and you give up 28 points in a row to go down 41-35 it's considered choking. Not looking at the record, looking at the game for what it is. Utah State wasn't supposed to beat Auburn but I considered that choking even though they weren't supposed to win anyways.
They went from being up 22 to down 6 in the span of 15 minutes.
