Noon Kickoff for SC. Who is going?

Believe that was my last time as well. It was against North Texas, so either 2016 or 2017.
North Texas was in 2015. I went to that one. That was probably the best football weather that day of a game I had ever experienced.

Yet another "Nooner". We need to win, and win some more in order to get a little higher priority. I think it was during Butch years, but is seemed like we had Vern and Gary (CBS) in the pressbox for half the games almost one season. Hard to get a full house at that time of day. Florida/Vandy is also noon on Saturday.

On another note - the 9:00 pm kickoffs (8:00 central) are a little ridiculous. Is that new? It was after midnight when the Auburn/LSU game ended. That's brutal to be leaving a stadium that time of night. Seems they could back that kickoff time a couple of hours without a lot of pain. Looks like Bama, TAM is the late game Saturday.

I'm headed to Knoxville Sat. 200 mile drive - leaving at the crack of dawn. GBO

I'll be there

Bringing 4 to the game with 14 yo nephew, his first game.

Random question. Is there still a trolley shuttle to and from the game near Market Square garage? Any info would be appreciated.

Park next to Barleys Taproom down in Old City, the shuttle is there. 10$ and brings you right back there after the game where you can enjoy some good food as well. This was my go to for years when i did not have parking passes. It was very easy, convienent to interstate as well.

Thanks for the info. Wanted to stay near Market Square if there's shuttles there, but I'll take your advice if I can't find out. Appreciate it.

My wife and I used to be at the Market Square parking garage by 6:30AM. Wait in the car or walk around until close to 7AM to be first at Pete's diner door for breakfast. Shop the square for fresh produce which we filled our large cooler box already stocked with ice and blue ice packs. Depending on game time, we either lolled about the UT campus, raided the bookstore (?), ate lunch at Pete's or our own packed hoagies and drinks. Took in the Vol Walk, planted our butts early and waited for the game. Yakked with other fans. Then things got worse and worse with bipedal whales. So now we watch via stream from home on our big screen TV. Meals? It depends, bison short ribs, BBQ chicken, chicken wings soaked in buttermilk overnight then ginger ale flavored BBQ'ed. With whatever sides we feel like having. Sometimes elk rump roast, or Nyala steaks. But we do miss being at Neyland.

I actually have a question for folks.
I have killer seats through work, but I’m getting lasik on Thursday. I asked the Dr. if I’d be okay to go on Saturday and he vaguely said it would just be up to me.
Can anyone speak from experience on this to give me an idea?

My aunt and I both had lasik done by the same doctor, but had completely different reactions and healing times; however, we were both fine by the next day. You'll be able to see same day.

This is as long as it is truly lasik and not PRK which has longer healing times.

I would love to go but my wife is a Gamecock fan so one of us will be mad after the game. Hopefully, it's her. Lol!

She's a Vol fan every game but this one.

I don't get the time scheduling. Some people say we need to play better to get the later kickoffs. But then why was UGAvUA on at noon last week, 2 undefeated teams? I think it's a weather issue. They schedule Tennessee at noon when it's HOT and then get the night games when it is COLD. I remember going to see UT play UAB in 2019, ceratinly not a high profile affair. I remember sitting in the north upperdeck with my kids freezing our tails off thinking why couldn't this be a noon game?

BTW, just bought 5 tickets from the UT website for this Saturdays game. I'm surprised there's still so many available especially after the big win last week. Lots of good seats too for a pretty good price.
