Contrast that with the SEC playing ranked conference opponents: Bama - 6, LSU - 5, Vols - 4, UGA and Ole Miss - 3. With their schedule, if Bama goes 9-3, they should get in the playoffs over any B1G at large team. Any of the other SEC teams at 10-2 should be in over any at large B1G team.
