Kavan came in and got 5K's in 2 innings!! Super impressive. Best part Pannel went 0 for 6 in the WCWS and Canady is leaving college without a title. Kudos Texas on back to back titles.

I have never been a bigger Texas fan than today. They broke my heart in '85...... our baseball team featuring Palmeiro and Clark was destined to go all the way, and Texas ended up being the unfortunate roadblock to our manifest destiny. And when they stole Vic, I swore them off. But because I hate Texas Tech softball with a passion, I forgive the burnt orange for their past crimes.

I just hate Tech even more, and all their money grubbing, property purchasing, and robbing teams of their best players. I don't hate Taylor Pannell like Tennessee fans, but she seems punky. Which is ok if you're Shirley Manson, but she's.... not. I don't hate Gerry Glasco, but by association to that team.... he deserves to get some hate too. And I definitely don't hate Canady, but she's just a matter of having been here too long. It's time for her to go - and I'm glad she goes out without a title.
