Kellie Harper has Hungarian sophomore now.

Overseas basketball players get money from overseas own country. Though there home country business supporting there athletes.
Possible other non- united states countries.

Think that is way besides playing abilities college basketball coaches are going outside more because there NIL funding is not unlimited and overseas players have playing abilities to improve there team.

Even big spending university like LSU and South Carolina have when after help from outside of America.

When Tennessee had Marta before she got hurt and her mother illnesses I looked read non USA players could sign NIL deals off of American land.

NIL funding probably won't be main factor.
But a coach with contacts in foreign countries with business would be a plus for Ukraine girl.

Think Missouri is going to better shape in the post because Jordan Reisma would come out and other team would go on a run.
All three of Missouri women's basketball big freshman keep the ball up where guards get not easily get the ball.
That my opinion after watching all three aleast three times on YouTube.

Not seen the Russian or Ukrainian girl play.
But seems like the board thinks both can play.

But experience big center would improve allot of teams.

Ukrainian girl ESPN rated her 5 in her class.
Should be able to have multiple Universitys interested in talking to her to see if they are both a fit.
Ukrainian And new university

All of which is why Mulkey should never in 1000 years have put either of those kids in that position. This was entirely avoidable. But obviously, as she has told and shown us many many times before, KM simply doesn't care.

And obviously she's very smart to have been recruited by ND, Duke and Stanford. LSU academics must have seemed like kindergarten to her. Bet she'll enjoy the challenge of an academic upgrade and a more prestigious degree

She's fine. There are 100s of teams without a Ukrainian player in the roster. No one is blaming her anyway so this is a strawman.

This was a braindead move by Mulkey.

LSU got some battleships 6' 3 " type players
They won't be like Missouri when Jordana Reisma miss games or sub out leaving only Grace Slaughter over 6 foot.

LSU would be tough most teams without the 6 5 Russian girl who has talent. But Anna Minerva
LSU should be in the hunt final four.

Only thing I would done differently would have given the Ukrainian girl heads up before transfer portal close.
Even if I just spotted film on the Russian girl.
I wasn't sure I was going to recruit her.

Only Kim M knows when she was first interested in Anna
Now if the Russian girl reach out after transfer portal or LSU found her though there scotting after transfer portal close.
Then that makes difference.

They making a big deal about Makayla Williams and Milaysia Filwiley who are both great, but the difference makers on this team may be in the post. Zakiyah Johnson is listed as a guard, but plays that 4 spot like Nina Davis did at baylor. Z Johnson has got the goods.

LSU is going to be a handful this season, I believe they will challenge for the top spot in the conference.
