It’s shocking how frequently Duke just goes arctic cold offensively with the talent they have. They couldn’t even break 50 with 5 extra minutes from playing OT.

I think Kara and Lindsay Gottlieb are the only head coaches in WCBB with NBA coaching experience. One has been able to make that experience translate. The other sure as heck hasn’t.

This is going to be 'one of those years'. There are no longer any teams that are 'unbeatable' in the country. There will be matchup issues...injury issues...fatigue issues.....and everything else you can throw into the mix. It's all going to come down to a March run unlike anything we have seen in the past. There doesn't seem to be a 'well there goes the season' for anyone who can get into the tournament. UCLA seems to be the clear cut best team as of now....but that can change. Welcome to the 'level playing field excluding injuries and other issues' WBB arena. 🤣

Kara is not a good coach, sorry but her teams are painful to watch. Good defense. Horrendous offense. It looked better to start the season but they played a lot of bad defensive teams. Soon as they hit a little D that offense has evaporated.

One thing I can say for the Lady Vols is, even with the increased level of competition we’re still scoring the ball.

Kara has a lot of talent on her roster as well, just not utilizing it well at all. Of Fournier opts to transfers I hope we go hard for her. She’s raw but crazy athletic and protects the rim, she’d be a perfect fit for what Kim does.

Unfortunate pattern fm the Pat coaching tree is inability to coach effective modern offense at a high level. Not a surprise since that’s what hampered Pat late in her career.
