Started to post this earlier and then got distracted, but I have noticed that both Saxton and Cardoso, just before they block shots on driving players, push the offensive player away to create space to get a clean block. Might just have been these particular plays and not a pattern, but they sure do get a lot of blocks.

THE most obvious user of the push-off is Caitlin Clark. Yes, she's an otherworldly shooter -- one of the best ever. But more often than not she literally pushes her defender away to get open to shoot her amazing shots.
