Nolen Will Not Sign Early?

Y’all really need to let this kid go. He wasn’t a fit for us anymore than we are a fit for him.

He thinks very highly of himself, you can tell from his interviews and his recruitment. That’s totally fine and understandable, the kid has a lot to be prideful about. He needs to go to the right program where he can feel like he is “the man.”

Tennessee is not that program, that’s not how Heupel runs the team. Hype is not having success because he has a few stars, he’s having success because he runs a team with the mantra to fight with everything they’ve got for the guy standing next to them.

didn't he attend three high schools in his career? I'm just asking for a friend.......

Many on here said they had sources that Nolen was only signing with A&M because of NIL money. Wonder why the change of heart?
Gotta be honest. The more I view his recruitment with some of the things I read and heard about this kid, the more convinced I become that he'd be one serious risk to introduce into the locker room and the culture being built in the program. Combine that with his alleged deficiencies in his work ethic and I'm not going to lose one second of sleep if he signs with aTm or any other program. Should he sign with UT, I won't be able to say the same. I know some will consider this sour grapes on my part, but I've seen what a single individual can do in a locker room over the last 60 years of watching UT footballs ups and downs. Right now and at this stage of the rebuild, I don't think he's worth the risk. Maybe if we were at the level we once were and he might be the difference between making the playoffs or not, I'd think differently. Right now? Nah. Nowhere near worth it.

A&M upped the ante last night and he signed. While I really wanted him to sign with Tennessee, I guess things worked out for the best. A lot of headaches seem to be attached to him.

I don’t care about stars if they love Tennessee like I do. If they give everything to Tennessee and lose then so be it. This years team has been probably my favorite. No team that I’ve been able to watch ( dating back to 2003) has played as consistently hard as this one
