Anything can happen but I think that this season might be the 1st season(maybe not) in SEC History where no coach would be fired at the end of the year.

Let Tennessee travel into bammerland and take a victory from St. Saban of Cashola and your theory could be in jeopardy.

Good point. I wouldn't mind seeing St. Richt on the hot seat though. I also think Spurrier will call it quits after next season.

I agree on Spurrier. I think he's even thinkin he's overstayed his welcome and is missing playing golf/speaking for a living.

On Richt, man I've never seen a fanbase so patient with a guy that coulda shoulda woulda but hasn't.

If the OBC goes 6-6, I could really see him being shown the door. They might not fire him, but they might just kind of suggest that his time might have passed. I'd love to see that.

After another 5 loss season, Spurrier will likely hang it up. He can't win at USC.

That's so true. UGA fans just blame the coordinators for the teams failure. Now if Richt has a losing season, or even if UT throttles them in Knoxville, we may begin to hear an outcry in Athens.

I believe you guys are spot on for Spurrier. Unless he has an amazing season I imagine the old ball coach is going to hang it up.

Does anyone else think that Chizik will have trouble appeasing the beast?

Spurrier will be out after this year, either by his own call or by the AD showing him his way out. Either way is fine with me.

IMO Richt will be looking over his shoulder for the next few seasons. He will probably be forced to sacrifice an assistant after this year and it might be the DC if that unit does not improve. The cycle at UGA reminds me of the last few years we have had at UT.

Why would we want him fired? Everyone compares him to Fulmer, but Fulmer actually won a national championship.

He is more like Tommy Bowden at Clemson---he's never competed for a title, despite the roster and the hype.

He can go 9-4 at Georgia from here on out, until he retires. Why would we want him to get fired---they'd just go after a better coach?

I don't think Spurrier makes it a year. Heck, he may hand it over the Jr. before the start of the season.

If Georgia only manages 7-8 wins next year, expect those rumblings to get louder.

Here is their schedule:
Oklahoma State at Stillwater, Okla. (65% Loss)
South Carolina Athens, Ga. (70% Win)
Arkansas at Fayetteville, Ark. (55% Loss)
Arizona State Athens, Ga. ( 60% Win)
LSU * Athens, Ga. (65% Loss)
Tennessee * at Knoxville, Tenn. (55% Win)
Vanderbilt * at Nashville, Tenn. (75% Win)
Florida * at Jacksonville, Fla. (75% Loss)
Tennessee Tech Athens, Ga. (95% Win)
Auburn * Athens, Ga. (55% Win)
Kentucky * Athens, Ga. (75% Win)
Georgia Tech at Atlanta, Ga. (60% Loss)

7-5 looks realistic. It may be just me though.

That was my main toss up. I think with it being at home and Mallet starting at QB(Probably) they might trip them up. Plus, I don't think year two of Petrino will be nearly as bad as year one.
