Wanted to get this off my chest... I know alot of us is worried because NSD is only a day away and.......well nothing has really happened. All we seem to get is hearsay and that seems to be negative hearsay. Basically this is the reasoning behind my post. Go Vols and Go get em Kiffin and Company..........This post is also in reference to the tons of posts that i read about all of our recruits/possible commits........
Hey Guys, look at it like this. "We can never lose what we never had." So if we don't get Brown, Teague, Patterson, King, Bryce Brown, A. Phillips, Montgomery,...etc. then no biggie. Now if we start losing those recruits like Stokes and Oku, then you might get upset because they were in the palm of our hands!
To be perfectly honest with you, I still believe that Kiffin will reel in something pretty special. I'm not overly worried in the sense that all we hear is negative news on these recruits.
Look at it like this, National Signing Day has "its" own day for a reason. They don't call it the day before signing day or the Friday before signing day do they? It's signing day and im sure its pretty special to these kids.
To expect a kid to come out and say I choose.....a week or even a day in advance is ridiculous. It wont happen. Unless you hear it from there mouth, have it tape recorded for all to hear, then there is no source that is reliable, although i will give Hubbs props, but with that said, all speculation is well.....SPECULATION!!!!!
Tommorrow will come and go, we more than likely will have to wait on a few TOP NAMES, but I still am convinced that we will be pleased by tommorrows pledges!!!
And I can already see it now, the disappointment on these boards when we don't get Brown, Patterson, Teague, Montgomery, etc., you know the ones we should of got because Lane Kiffin is such a great recruiter! I might throw up in my mouth if that starts happening! Mainly because Kiffin has only had two months to do what 99.9 percent of coaches have had to do in two years and that is build TRUST with the players!
Think about it like this we have almost 15 prospects interested in UT days before NSD and that is coming off a year when UT was 5-7. Kiffin has to be doing something right or else these kids wouldn't even listen to Kiffin much less visit our school.
