No Gus Johnson in the Sweet 16???

i just saw the commentator's pairings on rivals.com for the sweet 16, and sadly, saw no Gus Johnson listed... instead we get.. James Brown?? Come on CBS, you are screwing up one of the best things you got going for you in Johnson, and in his place you put an NFL guy to run the show? Gus Johnson is what college basketball should be about, unparalleled excitement... he brings that excitement to the broadcast and, in all respect to James Brown, Brown just doesn't. I couldn't listen to him this past weekend. I think CBS made a huge mistake by not sending him to the Sweet 16 with Len Elmore. Very disappointing. :no:

Gotta say, I'm 'ok' with not having to hear Gus again until the Fall when he inevitably gets assigned to the epic Texans/Titans battle.

james brown is far and away the worst basketball play by play man i have ever heard.

James Brown is terrible. I don't think Gus is to good overall either, but during that Ohio State game he was going crazy when Lewis hit that shot. He shows much more energy and excitement that Brown.

Gus Johnson was cheering like crazy for Ohio State the other day. But he is better than James Brown. I'm glad Verne Lunquist and Bill Raftery will be doing our games:rock:
