I'm so tired of hearing this. It's not like they are stoned and pulling out their piece when Bruce goes for an in home visit. When he is recruiting them, they put their best foot forward. I'm sure each of these players seemed like model citizens when Bruce was recruiting them. Not only that, a lot of people change when they get to college and are living on their own. Pearl can't sit around and babysit them, he has to trust them to be law abiding citizens. That is certainly not too much to ask.

crews, ramar, then these four clowns... isn't there more? wingate was not his recruit so that one doesn't count.

We have been to the ncaa tournament 4 years straight!!!!!!! Pearl is the best coach we could ever have. 20 year olds are stupid and sometimes make horrible decisions. The reality is that if Buzz was still our coach this wouldn't even be a story because our bball program would still be irrelevant.

Bruce Pearl seems as though he would rather be these guys friends than their coach, like it or not it is his coaching style. IMO problems like these stem from his lack of leadership, this is the type of thing you expect to see from newcomers to the program, not seasoned veterans. I have seen some signs of what I would call a lack of respect on the part of some of his players, he needs to address this issue very quickly IMO.
