I think we are at the rock bottom. There is no coaches left that can take Tn to the top. Right now we are just looking for anyone to take the job. No qualifications necessary.

The coaches that are left that had't turned us down we would be lucky to win 7-8 games a year much less win SEC East.

Les Miles is a championship coach but at this point Kiffin or Tee might be our best options.

There is no proof Kiffen would stay over 2 years. But the way things are looking we are going to be searching every 2-3 years anyway

Once again, make his contract heavy buyout, heavy incentive based.

Contract is 6 years,10 million dollar buyout that drops to 7.5 million after year 4, not eligible for any extension until after year 4, make his base salary around 3 million and put crazy incentives in there like the following:

$500K for SEC East Title
$1M for SEC Title
$750K for Playoff Appearance
$1M for Natty Appearance
$2M for Natty

$100K for top 15 Recruiting class
$250K for top 10 Recruiting class
$350K for top 5 Recruiting class

At minimum if we make playoff, that means we pay between 5.3-5.6 million to do so in one year. That, my friends, is a heck of a deal.

i agree. Even if he did skip town, (which I doubt) it would be like having a great interim coach which is a hell of a lot better than our current options.

Go get him Currie for love of the VOLS

Man, we're getting desperate. Would Phillip Fulmer take the job? Would need to get a great OC and DC. He would be a better choice that a lot of these yahoos they are considering. Fulmer > Miles in my opinion. Maybe he could recapture some of the magic. He knows what it takes. Lights out defense and run the ball consistently. Whether he could accomplish that is questionable but these other options are ridiculous. So sad.

Ok if your giving a mid-level coord a shot at the job then yeah that'd be about right. However as the AD you'd probably be gone for offering that to a mid-level coord. Then again a mid-level would probably decline and pick up a group of 5 job with better circumstances.

He's not. He landed here 3 days ago to feed off your desperation and in 3 days he'll be gone.

No desperation here, just playing along but a few things add up from vc and this years search is a lot different inside vn.

If it’s who vc’s Hinting towards, a certain game thru a wrench into last weekends announcement. Schiano was the perfect guy for a smokescreen like that
