Tennessee covers and wins, transfer QB looks better than the last two jokers

Alabama loses to a team that went 2-10 last year (and a team with multiple former Vols)

Nico looks like a worse version of Nico and continues his tradition of not scoring touchdowns in more than one half.

Not sure how week 1 could have realistically gone better than this. I guess we could have played a bit better on some third and longs and been a bit sharper on a few throws, but in general, this was as good as we could have asked for.

Less Tennessee injuries and NOT allowing 14-17 points to be scored…but your premises is valid!

Tennessee was a winner definitely....but I mean, it's hard to argue that FSU was the biggest winner this week, along with Brian Kelly.

They both got HUGE monkeys off of their backs. Tennessee just managed to not look a fool. And we did it well. Lots to clean up though. Thankfully we get a easier week with ETSU. Hopefully can get people healthy and fine tune some things.

I like that FSU QB called out AL weeks before the game and backed it up. If you didn't hear he said that AL couldn't stop them and they didn't have Saban to save them.
He talked and made them like it.

Proctor, Bama’s 360lb LT is the most overrated player I’ve seen. FSU ran around his fat ass all day.

Never underestimate the pure hell Tennessee would have caught by the national media if Joey had struggled & Nico threw for 250 & 3 TDs.

Milton is a class act and a good QB. I wouldn’t call him a joker. He was all about UT.

Not sure how good Clemson is. Klubnik has never impressed me. LSU's win may be nothing or it could be impressive. Too much is put on preseason rankings. Clemson may not be in the top 25 at seasons end. Syracuse might run them off the field.
And I’m not sure I ever truly understood how lame Clemson’s entrance is. So the fully dressed Clemson players file out of their stadium dressing room and try to squeeze into four tour busses that transport them a couple of blocks to the other side of the stadium. They disembark and touch a rock before gingerly walking down a steep tarp-covered hill to the playing surface. So the rock is magical or from the moon I wondered? Nope, some dude gave it to their football coach who used it as a door stop for 6 years before telling someone to throw it away. Dude put it on a pedestal instead.

Probably still better than South Carolina’s weird homage to Kubrick.
