NIL Valuation (by On3)

I’d really like to know where they are getting their valuation. Seems completely arbitrary.

Yeah, I was trying to figure that out. If you click into a player you can see they're tracking how many followers each has on different channels. They have a Per Post Value that varies amongst the list - to your point is not clear how they got there. They also list NIL deals without specifics. Very interesting.

Wonder if a player could incorporate and start to sell shares?

People would go nuts to buy a piece of someone like Arch Manning even if you don't get much in the way of dividends from their NIL deals

IPOs aren't that easy. You can't just sell shares to the public without the other scarier SEC getting involved.

You might privately sell some shares to accredited investors but those guys are going to want a seat on your board and an ROI.

Rattler has looked bad. Don’t know if it’s coaching or he is not good.

No he hasn't looked bad. Against Georgia State, he passed for 227 yards. They won 35-14. Against a quality opponent (Arkansas) which penetrated his OL repeatedly, forcing him to run around for his life, he passed for 376 yards, losing 30-44. In both cases, the running game was nigh nonexistent, so all the heat was on him. Quite frankly, if he gets even a rudimentary production from the RBs, the Rat will give teams, and certainly us, fits. But fortunately, Heupel won't treat either Ratty or USCe as inferior competition, so w may be OK when it's our turn.

Agreed.
A couple of things that jump out to me,
Georgia an Bama are killing it with their players. Success breeds success. Spreading it around to many players is the name of the game, but first you have to have the players to spread the wealth to.

Hooker and Tillman are a terrible representation of this list, if “followers” are a big factor.
Both of those guys are not flashy and just Workman like. Hell, they probably don’t even tiktok, like, ya know what I’m sayin.

Some of these kids are riding on the coattails of their fathers, at least as “amateurs” they are.

Can we break through with a basketball(men or women) deal or maybe be a pioneer and get a baseball kid on this list?
