When I went to buy a new white shirt for the game, I found out the local Vol shops cannot get stuff from Nike anymore. They have to make their own or find other sources / brands for Vol gear. I thought that was pretty tacky for Nike to cancel all those contracts -- seems like a greedy move to me trying to force us to buy online from them.

I have plenty of old white tshirts to wear and contribute to the checkerboard stadium, so it'll just have to do

They'd lose way too much money doing this. I always go to Hound Dogs and places like that instead of the bookstore. The bookstore doesn't sell everything Hound Dogs does and Hound Dogs doesn't sell everything the bookstore does.

I visited Knoxville from Germany this summer, and Alumni Hall is pretty amazing (to me)!

I like my Adidas shirts better anyway. I got UT Nike Tees but they don't fit as well or breath as good imo. They also feel cheaper even though they cost more.

It's hard finding decent t-shirts anymore imo. It seems like all the companies have gone to that paper thin material instead of the good old fashioned nice thick cotton shirts.

GILDAN. I've bought quite a few from different vendors over the last couple of years and they are by far the best. I wish I could get a few UT shirts by them.

You actually like the feel of a thick, rigid, starch-feeling t-shirt? I spent the first year or two of a t-shirt's life trying to get it to break down and thin out before someone finally figured out they could just produce them like that from the get-go.

Different strokes I guess, but I much prefer the feel of a soft, thin cotton shirt to that of a thick burlap sack.

Nike makes a limited amount of each item they sell. Once it's gone... It's gone. Check back next year and look early.

I thought the Vol Shops were extensions of the bookstore?

Plus nike runs 3 sizes too small

That is true. I don't know about 3 sizes too small but definitely 2 sizes too small. I always get X-Large shirts. They are mediums at best when I put them on. They're even worse in undersizing on the more breathable type T-Shirts.
