eight teams are competing

• Pahokee (Fla.)
• Miami Northwestern (Fla.)
• DeSoto (Texas)
• Dallas Skyline (Texas)
• Lakewood (Calif.)
• Gardena Serra (Calif.)
• Gainesville (Ga.)
• James F. Byrnes (S.C.)


thats gonna be a ridiculous tournament.. all of those highschools are known for putting out great talent.. im sure some players rankings will go up after this tournaments over with depending on how they do.. JS could move up to a five star maybe

some of the players that are in it:

• Mike Davis, WR, Skyline
• Chris Dunkley, WR, Pahokee
• Tai-ler Jones, WR, Gainesville
• Corey Miller, DE (could play TE), Byrnes
• Jesse Scroggins, QB, Lakewood
• Adrian White, CB, DeSoto

all of them are UA all americans also

Marcus Lattimore, Corey Miller, Brandon Willis, Richard Ash, etc.... lots of SEC talent in that 7 on 7

I think its the tournament that JS is supposed to announce his decision at.. so im guessin around the 25th.. not sure.. ill try and find out for sure tho

I thought that was at the elite 11 or something like that.. I could be wrong though..

o yea thats the one.. well im not sure then ESPN is coming out with the full team rosters soon, and hopefully they will mention the date.. im lookin right now

Junipero Serra defeated Lakewood for the championship, but the buzz is that Robert Woods, Jr. is making fast friends with Jesse Scroggins and both remain very interested in the Vols.

Scroggins' delayed commitment definitely favors the Vols more than the Trojans, but USC still has to be considered a slight favorite for landing Scroggins.

I have heard the elite 11 is in so cal but it is a bit confusing as someone also said that it was being held in vegas

it has been held at a small university down in orange county the last couple of years

Byrnes just won the 7 on 7 they hosted last week. Some of the teams that were in it were hoover AL, olive branch MS, atlee VA, science hill TN, independence NC, lakside GA, n gwinnett GA, & others.

hahahahahaha thats hilarious Atlee always sucked when I was in high school in 06. That was one of the only games on our schedule that we would win. I doubt much has changed in 3 years so I really doubt they stood a chance against Byrnes!

-The biggest news so far is that Pahokee, Fla., has been sent home from the tournament for undisclosed reasons. This is major news, not only because Pahokee is loaded with blue-chip talent, but they were also the top seed in their pool after the first day of play.

this just makes CLK look better

but i doubt this will be a major story. CLK gives an accurate, if brutally honest, assessment of the town and ESPN makes it headline news

but when yet another thing happens to prove that he wasnt lying, no one will care

didnt some people believe that it was the pahokee kids that stole stuff in Hess at our camp, or was that miami northwestern or someone else?

The Vapor Jets (Pahokee, Fla.) have been sent home from the event. According to Nike official Rodney Knox, it was due to "code of conduct violations."

As a result, the bracket has been re-done and Team Vapor Trail (Miami, Fla.) gets a bye into the semifinals.

how does it make him look good? we've offered several of their players. we wanted them to play on our football team.

criticizing the kids or their town just makes Tennessee look bad, too, and it certainly doesn't make them want to play here.
