Nigel Warrior and John Kelly

There needs to be a review of how many times Hurd and Kamara have been hit before or at the LoS this year.

They are both nearly always contacted at or near the los. Many times even in the backfield. It would be far easier to count the number of times they take off running full speed through the line (hint, hardly ever). Hurd could run the ball just fine if he had decent blocking (which he never really has had here). So sick of folks acting like something is wrong with Hurd. He is an excellent back if we had anything that resembles an offensive line. If we ever block Hurd to the safeties he will be just fine. I'm glad he appears to be staying positive because his blocking has been largely terrible to this point in his career. And in spite of subpar blocking he'll be our career leader in rushing yards by seasons end. Enough with the Hurd nonsense. It's silly.

If I had to have yard the ball goes to Hurd with a lead blocker.

if I needed a score down near the goal line Id at least try to run AK on the pick play we saw last season.

Kelly definitely deserves more touches. I'm hoping we go 2 backs all day against UF and he gets some more carries.

The problem is BJ or MD will not ever give him a lead blocker. Also, they will not let JH be lead blocker for AK. Makes no sense to me. I'm not saying every play but, once in a while it would be nice option.

I'm not sure who is better than who, but I will say Kelly is the least hesitant of our backs. You don't see him dancing around, running east and west at all. He sees a hole, he bursts through it and isn't afraid to take a hit. The kid runs with authority and definitely has the speed to take it the distance. Id love to see him get more time with the 1's.
