Crazy how this is playing out, isn't it? I wasn't ready to really acknowledge Nico's shortcomings until I saw him play at UCLA. His body language was actually sad - he seems broken - like he's getting worse and his heart isn't in football anymore. I hope I'm wrong. I don't blame Nico, I blame his age, the $$$ and the parents. I'm done following this story but a couple of things. His Dad was wanting Heupel to surround him with better players - it's worse now at UCLA. I sincerely hope he has better games that what he had last night against Utah and lastly, it's obvious Tennessee will have a better season than they would have if he'd have stayed. At this stage, it buys us nothing hoping for failure. In a way, it's a Shakespearian like tragedy still unfolding.

If it’s true about his dad running the show, he has cost his family millions!
Not too bright…….

Millions upon millions! Had Nico stayed, at least some or maybe a lot of his inabilities would have been hidden and just maybe, he would have been drafted. Now it looks like a free agent deal, at best.

I’ve seen egos cost but not like this!

What are the UCLA boards saying about him after this game?
From what I see..it's the same excuses we made. Offensive line, missing blocks by the backs, wide receivers not getting open, offensive coordinator sucks, head coaches fault, he must be hurt, first game jitters, age,NIL stress, recruiting..all of it lol
