So...Do you all still think that Stephens is a God-send?
I swear people need realize him for what he is. He is still inaccurate with a less than powerful arm. His throws are always bad because he isn't leading the players. The countless incompletions that were missed solely because of the placement of throws is getting rediculous.

so you want Crompton back? He is ready and waiting on the sidelines

Give Crompton another shot...what we got to loose? A ball game?

Maybe just maybe he has seen someone else will be played if he does not do well. And he steps it up to his ranking coming out of High School

Don't know where you got "god send" from but w/e, have it your way, Lets get Crompton back on the field, theres not too much left to screw up anyway.

My god, lay off the sauce. Stephens is not a godsend but he clearly is better than Crompton. Crompton showed no potential whatsoever. If you want another QB, at least call for Coleman. Wanting to see Crompton again is sadistic.

oh stop it....nobody is saying stephens was a godsend, just a considerable upgrade over crompton.

honestly, i still think stephens isn't our qb in the long run. it still seems like he's still not reading the field well at times, and also not going through progressions all that well.

WTF, he ain't great but he's twice the player JC is. And he's got a leadership about him that JC doesn't have. Stephens is our best option as of right now, I still blame play calling more than anything

Nick has been thrown into a no win situation,he only has the coaching staff to thank for it.

Stephens has trouble with the short stuff, but its partly to do with the fact our receivers just suck.

stephens isn't great but I agree he's twice the qb crompton is. I had heard that berry had played qb in hs try him out see what happens

Jay Schroeder could throw the ball deep down the field..so what.

I also know a guy at my work that is 47 that can throw a football about 70 yards...so what!

Stephens is better than crompton and has only played in what 4 games. He will get better. I wouldnt mind seeing what coleman can do. The only thing left to screw up is the chance at the music city bowl. Not that we really care about that one.

Why go to a fricking Bowl game? Get a new coach in here and let him recruit in Dec!

what are you talking about exactly? i was responding to the part of crusse's post where he said stephens had a "less than powerful arm."

throwing the ball 60 yards downfield is anything but less than powerful
