"He's a very bright guy and a student of the game...all parts of the game, he didn't just think he was one position coach on offense or one position coach on defense...He understands the big picture of all the issues and problems that revolve around a program...I think he's a really good recruiter...I think he's got all it takes to be a really successful college coach."

Expert testimony is accepted in court as evidence. Saban is witness, and he is definitely an expert.

I think given the situation of our program the past few years, CDD is doing a great job with what he has, and I'm really starting to like the 2011 class he's putting together. Could end up top 15-20 by NSD. Not bad IMO, GBO!!!

Then how do you explain this?

Saban on Fulmer: "I have a tremendous amount of respect for him as a coach and what he's done and what he's accomplished through the years. Saying all that, I think the guy's a really good coach."

Neither one was given under oath. Although we know that saban would never lie. "I am not leaving lsu. I am not leaving the dolphins."

Saban thinks Two And A Half Men is a well written, original show.
The evidence is mounting.

But he only put one of them in charge of recruiting at his program.

Really? Saban didn't say, "I think he's in over his head and I expect to walk all over him this Saturday." Shocking.

In all honesty, I'm sure Saban does think highly of Dooley, but this quote really just seems like coachspeak.

I think that statement is accurate of CDD however, I think that Saban is playing his best Lou Doltz game week BS for the most part.

I wonder when Dooley turns this around if all the negitive people will say they were behind him all the way. I am sure they will.Saban is the only coach to have 2 national championships with two different programs. LSU and Alabama. I think he knows how to build a championship team.

Uh... Okay?

I'll say this right now. If Dooley fixes everything, I'll be one of the first to admit I was wrong. I'll say that I feel better about the hire than I did at first, but I'm still skeptical about it, and I don't see how you couldn't be.

Yes they will jump on the bandwagon real quick. It is funny. I would bet 90% of this board loved and praised Kiffin. Now only a very few will admit to it.

I was happy about the job Kiffin was doing, I'm fine admitting it.

It's coach speak. He's not going to just blurt out that he thinks he's a scrub.

He's not Kiffin.
