Putting Gus Malzahn ahead of Monte Kiffin is simply ignorant.

Exactly. Success in the NFL vs. success in high school and at Tulsa...
To me going solely on what a coach did at his future jobs is a big mistake.

Just ask Pats owner Robert Kraft. If you look at Bellichick's record before he was hired at NE, he was terrible. Thinks have to fall into place and just fit. Hopefully for us that will happen.

Yeah, but when you are ranking them before they have ever coached a single game at their new schools, it's all you have to go on. That and maybe personality. Either way, it seems to me that there's nothing that would put Malzahn over Monte.

LSU will be fine, except on 3rd down. Great hire by the head man in Tiger Town. Consistant top 5 defenses will bread down there with all the athletes they get.

An off season wont change Auburn so expect about the same. Take thier season last year and take it a small step forward. I just dont see them having the personel just yet to run a spread type offense. In my personal opinion they need to get back to the roots that made them good, power football.

We on the other hand, can hit max at 8 wins, with a shocker in the mix. Which will be a great turn around to the dismal season we had last year. Glad to see weve gotten back to true UT football, Line em up and run the ball. Dont get me wrong the "spread" is nice but you cant beat power football in my opinion.

Clemson should be better with K. Steele runin the show on D. Doesent have the same number of athletes but Clemson gets its fair share so I fully expect them to be right in the thick of things in a very short time under the new coaching staff.

Now on to the Champs, with an in house staff member taking over the reins as OC I really dont expect anything different from them. Those that believe they wont miss a beat with out Harvin are in denial. Harvin was their team in some games last year and they looked lost without him at times during the season. Sure ill give credit where its due, Demps and Reiny are good but lets be honest they are no Harvin. I expect them to make it to the SECCG with one loss.

As much as I hate it, I see LSU and Florida in the SECCG with Florida winning and moving on to play Texas in the Championship game. Dreams go up in smoke, as Tebow watches McCoy score on the final drive to win the NC. HOOK EM HORNS!

Sorry about the long post but I just wanted to get some insight on my thoughts.
Its cool. Keep it up, I love reading what is on other Vol fans mind's.

I never refer to Florida as the "Champs" though. Either gators or those damn gators.

I say 8 wins max is what we get also. And we had better beat at least one of the Big 3. I say we surprised Georgia.

Can't wait until Monte completley shuts down Gus' offense.
Let's just wait and see how it plays out.

We need to start strong on D this year. We should shut Western out and build momentum there. Just start snowballing after that.

I talked a lot of smack last summer about UCLA and that backfired so I am gonna just let it play out.

Thanks for the feedback.
I know, I shouldnt and im probably goin to Volunteer Hell for posting it but i give credit where its due. They are the champs until beaten. Its good that we have two coordinators in the top 10 but im suprised we havent heard anyone poking fun at Chaney.

i like seeing Chaney at #9, he's a hire i have truly been excited about.
Yeah I have thought this since the hire. But what is nice is that Chaney is kinda the "other" guy so to speak. He gets barely any press. And by the end of the year he could end up being our main wild card. I think this is Lane's best hire.

Monte was the best coordinator in the NFL, you better believe he's the best in college. No one else compares.
