I have mentioned in 2 other threads that we were almost always in the top 3 of players on active rosters from the late 1980s until the early 2000s.

We had about 15-20 more players drafted than Florida during the 1990s

Sometimes around the late 1980s, Gil Brandt, Cowboys' director of player personnel said Tennessee put some of the most NFL ready players into the league. That was before our 1990s run

23 Vols currently listed on rosters, that includes players on IR and 1 suspended. The thing I find surprising is there isn't a single Vol kicker or punter in the league. What happened to the Colquitt kids? It seems like at least one of them would have had a kid who could punt.
