Here's the UT link to players in the League.

http://www.fansonly.com/schools//tenn/spor.../012604aab.html

For the beginning of the 04 season there were 51 Vols on NFL Rosters. That is 1 less than Miami. It was a Miami fan making a big deal of how many Canes were in the League the other day, as if that were a huge factor in a recruit favoring the Canes over the Vols.

I just love it when morons sit behind keyboards. They're so easy to expose.

You know one distinct difference between the Miami and UT NFL Teams. The UT team on paper could probably win the Super Bowl on any given year. The Offense alone looks intense. Peyton and Jamal on the same team alone would scare defenses. Secondly I wouldn't want to be a quarter back with Leonard Little, Shaun Ellis, and Al Wilson all blitzing with Deon Grant charging the stunt. OUCH. Henderson or Haynesworth stops generally the running game against you. The Corners and Recievers look inconsistant. But then again with the running game that this team has. It would open the passing game up. Peyton throws a better ball than Vick or Brooks. So the WR's might be fine.

Also, name one big-time Cane in the NFL who isn't either a misdemeanant, or felon.

The prosecution rests. :D

Ken Dorsey.

Yeah, nice. Taking snaps for the 2-14 'niners and coming up with 6 TD's, 12 turnovers, and a rating of 62. I thought we were talking about GOOD players.

Well, don't say this out loud, and just between me and you, the Canies have cleaned their act up a tad in the last 2 decades.

I just have this perpetual image of them deplaning in Nawlins' prior to the 86 Sugar bowl, each and every one of them dressed out in fatigues. I thought then and still think it was an insult to every man who's ever carried a rifle under the stars and stripes.

When we look at the 'SOLDEIR' Winslow, I guess he's seen clips of that disgusting little display.

I realize there have been some great kids come through the Miami program (I'm thinking Brock Berlin for one). The problem has been the inordinate number of thugs, smart a$$es, felons, misdemeanants, and just generally low-lifes that seem to frequent their ranks.

I know we've had a few losers too, but I believe our coaches have always dealt with them in a manner that demanded the players respect and gained a positive response from public scrutiny.

Now, would anyone like to talk about Bubba Bowden's disciplinary policies?

OK, so he doesn't have a record. But he gets dinged in my book for that flagrant and disrespectful display he took part in at the New Orleans Airport prior to the 86 Sugar Bowl, where all of them deplaned wearing battle fatigues.

You know, the game where we handed their heads to them in a duffle bag,

Vols 35 Canes 7
