Being on the next "juggernaut". I've heard that about Denver, the Giants and the Seahawks among others the week before they played the Falcons.

When are coaches going to stop this "icing" kickers crap? These guys are professionals. All they are doing is giving them a practice kick and in this case a mulligan.

Lotta butthurt. Ryan was In a position where he had to complete two passes in arrow or it was over. He completed both passes. I'll take it.

The funny part is that I think Carroll iced the kicker the right way by calling it early, but they went through with the snap and kick well after the whistle. On the radio postgame show they said that the snapper is instructed that if he gets his hands on the ball to snap it as soon as the play is blown dead precisely so that the kicker gets a free preview of the kick.

They better do a better job covering the tight end or Vernon Davis will go nuts.

My grandma seems to be doing okay for now. She was taken to the hospital about two weeks ago because she had gout. She had pills for it but stopped because they were making sick and thought she was better I guess. Even with my grandpa, something as simple as getting her to the bathroom was taking an hour.

She's been in a home since then for a week or two and this time she was having heart problems. It was causing her lungs to fill with fluid. A family member said a doctor mentioned congestive heart failure so I don't know. She's doing alright for the moment and has responded well to the pills but I'm really worried about how long it will actually help.

Thanks to those of you who sent out prayers. I turn 27 next month and am lucky to still have all of my grandparents. This grandma and grandpa in particular, I've spent my whole life within 30 minutes of them. They're 80-85, I'm a crappy grandson for not knowing but I know I'm lucky to have them. So thank you for anyone who prayed.

I did see the end of the game. Would have been a great game to see under better circumstances. Exciting finish.

The dumb call was having the ball at the 45 and running a five yard out.

Why not run a ten yard TE seam?
