while we're talking about NFL rules that suck - I hate that division winners get a home game even if they wild card team has a better record. Pats being in the worse division of the NFL for the last decade or more virtually guarantees they get a home playoff game.
Chiefs defense was mush down the stretch.... That game was won on the coin toss.
Their run would have been impossible in an average division. It's been dog **** for nearly 2 decades.
I think the Chiefs would have scored a TD and won the game - if they had won the toss. A Conference Championship Game should not come down to a coin toss... but this one did.Maybe. It also seems like it was won once Brady got the ball in extra time against a team whose defense had to spend about 2/3 of the regulation game (close to 40 min) on the field.
If the Chiefs got the ball, I’m not sure that their defense was going to be able to get them a win if the offense came away with anything less than a game-ending TD on that very first drive.
