Looked great, but I saw several "slips" by players from both sides - mostly the gators.

Am I correctly seeing that the turf caused Callaway's muffed punt at the 3 yd line? You can see he's trying to adjust to the ball's trajectory, which is going to cause it to land short of where he first thought. As he goes to move forward, his right leg slips out from under him and the ball glances off his fingertips. If the turf had held, does he move forward 3 inches and make the catch? I think so.

Home (poor) field advantage. World's of improvement over last year, though.

So far it's good. Last year it turned badly later in the season. We'll see how it holds up.

I don't think you can blame the turf for the muffed punt. Callaway is not good fielding punts, as shown by fair catching on the 2.

The turf didn't make him drift back behind the 10 to field a punt. Might have been grass, but it definitely wasn't our turf.

Even in pre jr high football, kids are taught to stick their 2 back cleats on the 10 yard line to field a punt, if it goes over your head so be it let it go over your head. Lol, Callaway fumbling a punt away and fair catching another inside the 5 yard line is just poor judgement by him and poor coaching by his staff letting him back out there IMO.

the turf was the biggest factor in the game...we couldn't have won without it...:)

I didn't see anyone else slipping, I think he just muffed it on his own accord.

I don't think the Turf hasn't been a factor in anything I've seen so far.
