VolNation what would it take for you to buy a season ticket.

I have called and suggested most of services for game day

1st – Last year they said UT @ Neyland WiFi was increased in 2012 season < Good before terrible after game started, 2013 they have partnered with Verizon to increase the signal inside Neyland stadium. >

2nd - Similar to Nascar I would like to see UT create a game day app that would allow season ticket holders to log via email to your account to view the signal for all the televise replays and play by play as if you are at home. Of course #1 would actually have to work.

3rd – The south end has little to no view of the big screen, look to add video board on the opposite end.

4th – Walk ways are just a fire hazard away from being an issue, when you add that many people inside the stadium it just doesn’t work.

5th – Bathrooms and plumbing are just so embarrassing when seen leaking during a game.

6th – Remove bleachers and replace with seats

7th - Parking

What can you add VOL Nation to the list of what and needs:

Good Lord; I started this discussion to see what VOL Nation could add to the game day experience at Neyland, it’s simply pooling ideals together to see what everyone’s thoughts. Not intended to complain or that anyone with a thought is complaining about the current situations, only to say “IF” had a vote to say hmm that would be nice to see at the game. Also including what would make you become a season ticket holder, not stay at home, friend’s house ect.

So Vol Nation keep it real and give me your thoughts, and please don’t dog anyone input.

8th) - Start accepting debit cards at the concession stands!! Ridiculous that I can use it at Chattanooga Mocs and Lookouts games but not at Neyland frickin' Stadium!!!

I'm tired of eating HOTDOGS!!!

We have to walk ALL the way UP the ramps to the top.

Don't want t walk ALL the way down to the Very bottom to find a BURGER!!!

Serve Burgers everywhere!

I'm ******* TIRED OF HOTDOGS AT THE GAME!!!

I mean...when I'm walking to the stadium and I remember or get excited about grabbing food during the game...my head drops and I remember...hotdogs.

It's a very sobering reminder of the state of Tennessee football.

After a while I came to the conclusion of 1. be walking back to AG campus after a loss and 2. All after eating nothing but ****** Hotdogs and skittles.

Come on UT! Better food!!!!

Reduce capacity by about 5-7,000 and make the seats not ridiculously narrow.

Stop charging for student tickets and do whatever it takes to fill up those sections.

Completely start over on the concessions and restrooms.

Remove the barriers behind the seat sections so you can see the field from the concourse and it doesn't feel so claustrophobic.

Go somewhere else to a game and realize the experience could be better. It's a suggestion thread.

I'm sure Elavon (3rd largest credit card processor in the US & located in Knoxville) would be delighted to provide this service for UT at a low price due to vicinity and connections. I agree with you on this. Make it happen UT.

Even with the upgrade, the cell phone coverage is horrible. I have to walk to the north end zone and go way out on the ramps just to get it to have a bar or two................

The single most aggravating thing about Neyland other than losing every freaking game.................

Credit card machines, dual video boards, more seats. I care about how narrow they are.. I'm standing the entire time.. If I want to sit, I'll stay home.

Suck it up. I guess I'm not at the age where I give two cents whether I can buy an 8 dollar burger closer to my seats. It's a historic stadium no need to make it any better for the yuppies. I've been to plenty other venues, plenty and I love neyland. She's my first and will be my last.

Great suggestions so far. The bathrooms were the first thing I thought of. The concessions are a joke as well.

I think these suggestions would make 90% of the people at Neyland more happy. I love having one of the biggest stadiums in the NCAA, but I also want to be a little comfortable before the game and during halftime, which is the only time I'm sitting anyways. The restrooms are really embarrassing as well and really need to be modernized. I think it'd be a great idea to allow wifi in the stadium for free (maybe have a code on the ticket purchased to allow access to that game and that game only) so everyone could link up and see the game on their Iphone, Ipad, etc. I also think they need to add some HD TVs around the concession area and underneath the overpass where the TVs are currently. Basically, just revolutionize Neyland to allow fans to receive the full game experience in more ways then one with the current technology at hand.

You're kind of missing the point.

This isn't about how much we love the stadium. This is about what could be done to make people invest in season tickets vs. sitting at home and watching it on their 50" HDTV.

To me I can't imagine this guy actually going to many games or this wouldn't be his opinion.

Or HE'S the guy who pisses all over the restroom and leaves his airplane bottles of liquor on the back of the toilet.

SO going along with your line of reasoning...you like UT? You like coming to games? Well be ready to spend 3 hours in a compressed outhouse. Cause that's what we are! Backwood hillbillies that love to sit up on each other, eat hotdogs and piss everywhere. Yeah! Buy some season tix and do it EVERY home game!

You don't like the feeling you ought to hose down your shoes after leaving the restroom...you aren't VFL!

Go Vols! For fun...I crap myself before walking in the stadium.

Now if you ain't gonna piss on others and crap yourself and sneak in dem little bottles of party liquor go home and root for Bama!

My line of thinking is make the experience a little more...civilized and enjoyable and maybe you have a full house.

But what ever. Think like this guy and crap yourself before getting to your seat to make it a REAL UT game!

VolNation what would it take for you to buy a season ticket?

After nearly 40 years of season tickets, staying alive would be a major factor in continuing.

As for those bragging about standing up, you can stand in front of your TV. At my age and with a fake hip and 2 upcoming fake knees, I still would like to see the games I pay for. Most of those around me lately are not the season ticket holders. They have bought them on the street.

One of the cool things about the new Marlins stadium is that you can see the game/field from the concession stands. A lot of stadiums you can't even hear crowd noise when you're at the concession stands. At least put TV's up showing the game with Radio feed supplying the audio. And provide audio in the restrooms. Maybe they do that, I don't know.

Regarding concessions, themselves, I don't really care. However, for a lot of people the stadium food is part of their experience. Better choices are needed.

We need to finish the outside of the stadium to make it look complete. Also another jumbo tron on the opposite side would be perfect.

I like the suggestion about reducing the capacity and widening the seats, but the unfortunate result of that would be the necessity to raise ticket prices more than they already are or increase the required donation. Also, this situation is made even worse if you stop charging for student tickets. I think college teams will rightly start looking to go the NFL route and make their stadiums smaller and state of the art, but with tickets priced at a higher premium.

This however will inevitably bring its own set of issues too...
