Does anyone know of a sketch of General Neyland's statue on the internet anywhere? I'd like to see what it's going to look like and couldn't find anything on a google search.

Yeah that is set to be announced @ the first home game. 09'
Glad to see Fulmer finally recognized and rewarded for what all he's done to this university... Money is great, but it can't buy you the love and appreciation from the fans that was so perfectly illustrated to him in the last 3-4 home games.

Word is he is gonna contribute a million dollars to the statue fund, and then it will be Neyland/Fulmer stadium.
I had also heard that they will rename the Tennessee River, to The Fulmer river.

Any truth to the rumor about them replacing the "T" with a Power F on the helmets?

There's also been a rumor floating around that Knoxville will be renamed Fulmerville.

Bryant-Denny. As much as I hate to say it, it is a beautiful stadium.

you're right, it is. i wonder if bama's locker rooms, media rooms, etc. are as nice. i wouldn't doubt they compare, but i've never seen a picture.

i'm also not very happy with the discussion of increasing the size of bryant-denny to surpass neyland's capacity.

Yeah, I've heard those too. I'm not a fan of cutting all the capacity. But its all business, so the UTAD is going to do what makes the most money and you can't blame them.

You mean they don't do things that make the fans happy? The ones that come to see the "kids" play football.

You mean it is all about money? I thought they did things with the Tennessee faithful in mind....you know, the ones that will be cheering UT on once Hamilton has long left town.

I like it when he talks about ticket prices, the price will go up so we can compete :)

I thought MH did things for the "family" :)

Sorry....just a touch of sarcasm in this post :)

cant speak for the media room, but their locker room is very very spacious and pretty nice. i have been inside of it numerous times, but it is no where near as nice as our new renovations.

I walk by the stadium daily and Im super excited about the new renovations but I feel that we really need to invest some money into repainting the exterior of the stadium. There are chips and rust everywhere and the paint just looks very dull. Has any one heard anything on this? I was wondering if that was in the plans for renovations...if not it should be brought up....Its a minor cost compared to what they are doing and would make the stadium look much better

When the renovations are complete, I don't think that there will be any exposed metal. I think it will all be brick.
