Miles 0.7 PPG, Pucket 2.3 PPG, Wynn 1.0 PPG, Striplin 2.0 PPG, E Darby 0 PPG, Pissott 0.8 PPG, T Darby 5.4 PPG, Suarez 3.7 PPG, Hollingshead 2.4 PPG. That is 9 players coming back combined averaging 18 points per game (unless we lose some thru transfer) so Kelly will have room for approximately 6 more players for next year.

What would you do and what do you think Coach will do as it appears the Portal is her only option?

Need scorers badly.

And that’s if all 9 of those stay too. Always have to factor 1-2 leaving each year

Maybe you should put in how many minutes per game these players are presently getting, only one is getting starter minutes.

You answered your own question. She'll have to strke gold in the portal--which will be very hard to do--or we could be bad, if we're honest. It's why high-school recruiting is, you know, rather important.

Really don't know who is coming back as everybody on the roster is eligible to come back except Franklin. Powell has already said she is coming back and I think a very good chance that Key returns. So what you need is portal replacements for Horston and Jackson. Plus everybody else should be better with the playing time they get this year and over the summer training. We can't really say where the team is until July of next year because you can bring in players up to that point that are eligible to play the coming season.

So your talking about replacing at the most four players and more than likely only two. Granted they need to be star players and suspect many that fit that category will be Grad Transfers and other players that just looking to play somewhere else.

As far as the averages when your playing just a few minutes a game not going to have a high average. Only Darby on that list is getting any extensive playing time thus far.

Especially since everyone that was brought up is playing behind starters and haven't played enough to really make a judgment on any of them. Hollinghead is looking a lot like Horston looked as a freshman and she has the athleticism to be a very good player by next season. So far away to judge what any team will look like almost a year from now.

These people need some serious help.. then as expected someone makes this about HS recruiting lol. What stats does any HS player have on the collegiate level lol? I know without a doubt that Brooklynn Miles was Miss Kentucky Basketball. Jillian Hollingshead was a McDonalds All-American. Justine Pissott was a McDonalds All-American. Kaiya Wynn, Karoline Striplin, and Sara Puckett were 4🌟🌟🌟🌟 recruits. People stop with this foolishness.

Certainly wasn't going to be about any freshmen coming in as about 85 to 90 percent of them no matter their ranking are backups this season. Very few freshmen are going to be difference makers in year one as some here seem to think. Your much more likely to find a difference maker in the portal.

Who made you hall monitor? The point is quite basic: We would have no returning starters, and no proven SEC performers next year. That's a problem, whether you want to acknowledge it or not. This year, even with a good group of transfers, we had three returning starters. None of the above players is a starter--and those who are getting minutes are not getting many. To be sure, some have some potential, but it's not clear how much. The coaches almost certainly have to repeat the transfer success of last year.

Not a hit and run.....just posting facts, Do you challenge what we have returning next year at this time? I was posting to show we need a BIG upgrade in the roster next year as scoring among the present returnees seems to be a problem.
I was very much in favor of Kellie's hire but thought at the time, not keeping the recruiter on staff was a big mistake as Kellie missed out on the relationships that recruiter had built with recruits. Kellie had to basically start all over again.
Kellie then brought in a friend to handle recruiting who struggled despite having one of the top programs in WB history to recruit to. I hope I am wrong and Kellie brings in some fantastic transfers and also does something about reducing turnovers.
