Just wondering if we have any top QB prospects committed. I think if we had a better QB and a couple offense linemen we would have been in a lot better shape. Dont matter who we have as a coach we have to have a good QB. Perhaps Clausens offense was to complex for the offense to execute. I just dont think a coaching change will fix the problem however it will be a change hopefully in the right direction.

I refuse to answer your question because you will not learn a lesson.

1) Anyone that vaguely follows UT football knows whether we have a top QB committed or not.

2) Even if you do not know, the internet can guide you quite easily to the answer.

Agreed... lazy post on their part.

At this point I would think that almost any high school qb would think that he could come here and play and be better than what we have now.

Tahj Boyd reminds me of Tee Martin. Except he's more athletic and more polished as a passer. I think he can come here and be the beginning of a great turnaround here.:clapping:

Let Boyd start from day one, take some lumps and build toward his junior and senior years.

after watching him i'd say his sophmore year would be plenty of time... He looks very poised...

but i thought that about crompton in the spring game too..

sooooo...

Oh he will for sure be a good one, It really only matters as to what style of offense he is used in...He could be a major weapon if used properly...I expect our NEW coaching staff to have a clue about that ;-)

I would rather lose with a Fr. QB than "Pick 6 Nick" and "I like to throw to fans Crompton"

Boyd looks good on the films. He can actually get away from defenders. Make things happen with his legs to keep drives going. He is actually a mobile QB unlike CRAPTON was supposively.

agreed, ive been to all of his games this year after hearing he was interested in UT and he is very elusive and has a very accurate arm and the poise to stand there and deliver in the face of a hit. He should start right away over these clowns.

Steve,

His name is Josh Nunes...and he is an absolute stud, so the future of tennessee qb's is in good hands!

psssttt...hey volnation guys, steve won't know that Josh actually decommitted, so it doesn't really matter. shhhhhh...

well...my grandma can look elusive in highschool football...we don't need a guy who is elusive in high school ball...we need a guy who dominates it. guys like this make me skeptical. elusive in high school means destroyed in SEC.

If Boyd isn't better than any QB we have already, there's no reason to recruit him. So I'm looking for him to start next year.

wow this guy must not follow tennessee football at all.. how do you not know about boyd?

Why on earth are people cracking on this poster for asking a simple question?

I'm particularly amused that someone displaying what appears to be a Nazi officer in his avatar presumes to lead the way in teaching lessons on effective internet use to others. Come on.

Just because the team has gone to pot doesn't mean this board's manners have to follow. That's weak. :bad:

I think our QB situation next year depends heavily upon whether Crompton will be high first round or not.

Thanks everyone for all the great info. I guess I showed what an idiot I am. I would of rather have Nunes but I am sure he will fit in at Stanford. Hope Boyd works out. I figured if Fulmer would have been coach next year he would be changing Boyd to a different position like he did James Banks, Berry and Jones. If Boyd can be another Tee Martin that would be great.

Don't worry about it man. Not everyone follows recruiting as much as others. Everyone is just a little pissed.
