I know it's really early to be starting this type of thread but I'm curious to see what everyone thinks. Now I know there are going to be those who think we will be amazing... but please trying to be as realistic as possible.

My prediction: 8-4 (I'd be ok with that)

Losses to: Florida, Alabama, Ole Miss, and I think we slip up on some team... I've yet to decide who that team is.

I believe we all would but I have to be realistic and playing in Tusc. is not going to be easy especially with whomever our qb is. I just think that will be a loss for us. I think we will have alot of close games next season, that will result in a loss or two. With time though we will find ways to win. But again with time.

I apologize I forgot all about including bowl game... so I also would say 9-4 if we are counting the bowl games.

Why are you guys down on playing in Tuscaloosa? The Swamp is tough but Bama? We've owned bama at their house! There are entire generations of Bama grads who never saw their team win a game against UT!

And Georgia and USC? Please?!?

I'm not really thinking about wins. I want to see a well disciplined team thats going to compete and play extremely aggressive. Hopefully we can see some more speed on the offensive side of the ball as well. I would be happy with 9-4(IBG) looking at the schedule we could do better.

10-3 with a bowl game loss. I think Kiffin finds a way to split with Bama and Georgia breaking in new QBs.

The absolute worst we could do is 5-7, but I think 8-4 is the number for next year. If we can pull the upset against one of the Big 3 or Ole Miss, then it gets better from there.

We'll find a way to beat the lamecocks next year. It will also be a good year to beat georgia, no stafford, no moreno. I say we play bama and florida close. I really hate the thought of losing three in a row to bama though.

Looking over the schedule its tough to pick out losses. There are the obvious wins and then you have Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Ole Miss. Now one of those other teams could definitely sneak up on us. However I wanted to talk about these teams. Out of these 5 only 2 will probably be better next year. I'm guessing Ole Miss and South Carolina. That is if the Jr's decide to leave early. Florida has Tebow, Harvin, Spikes, etc. Georgia has Moreno, Stafford, etc. Bama has to break in a new Qb and we have seen what that can lead to. Saying all of this I really don't see a dominate team in the East this year. However, since we have yet to settle on a QB I say we will go 9-4 with a bowl win.

I say we go 7-5, maybe 8-5 with a bowl win. The only game I am on the bubble about w/l is the USCe game, that one will depend alot on QB play (both teams). They might be able to squeak one out a GA but I would not count on it.

I think we steal one against FL, Bama, or Uga.
Watch out for Ole Miss, The rest are very winnable.
8-4 Realistic
10-2 Realistic/Optimistic - Would take some luck

I think it really depends on how strong our defense stays under the transition to tennessee-2 and how well a qb steps up in CLK's system.

If both happen, then I think we have the talent to win every game (assuming the big losses at florida, bama and uga happen).

If I had to predict though, 8-4

I dont normally like making predictions this early but 8-4 sounds reasonable. I think we can beat ole miss. GA, Bama, Florida, not so sure about. Auburn I just dont know. This all depends on if we can get decent play out of our offense and find a QB that can get the ball to the receivers.

lets see, I think we are going to beat on UCLA like a red-headed step child. I think of the the big three (bama, ga, fla) we take 1 or 2, i dont see us beating all three of them till 2010. Ole Miss is going to be good, old houston nut is doing well,,, arkansas is kicking themselves in the tail for that one.
