I am looking at adding more news to the site. Let me know if this has any problems or doesn't update. It should automatically refresh as new news is reported. Do you think it adds anything to the site? Should I add one for SEC or other college fooball news? Also please let me know if any weird headlines show up that shouldn't be there.

Looks to... I dunno, plain. The date/time tags also add unneccessary length to the news summaries, try and reincorporate those in a different way.

Just trying to offer some constructive criticism.

Thanks milo. I can delete the date tags if need be and I can make it look "prettier" also. I was just curious if anyone would find it useful to have these news stories here. People may not be interested. Just trying to think of some ways to add more value to the site.

I think that would be a good idea. It would save us the trouble of going over to UTSports, or ESPN or CBS SportsLine or whatever to get Vols News.

Can't beat 1-stop browsing.

Anything you can do to make it "prettier", etc will just be gravy, considering it not only lets us get it here instead of checking elsewhere, but, also, let's us avoid the 5 minute wait for the average mainstream news site and its pop-ups to download.

While we're on the topic of site features, I can't see which threads I have and have not posted in because the folder images with a dot over them are gone. Couldja bring 'em back, Freaky?

Click on the "My Assistant" link in the upper-right, then click "last 10 messages"...

In the end- if you have 2 windows open- that's better than what you're talking about, and is more certain/ trustworthy.

Do you guys like in in a post like this? The post will update it automatically and we could pin it at the top or something. You could click on it everyday and the first post would be the news. That way you don't have to go to the front of the site to see it. Thoughts?

Or would you prefer to see it on the front page?

Since I'm in the forums a lot more than on the front page, I like the idea of putting it there.

Freak, you've done a really good job of adding stuff to the site. Thanks. :good:
