If you would like some motivation to lose weight, I'll start making weekly post if anyone would like to join me, if not, I'll just let the thread die.

Why not? Nobody ever keeps resolutions anyway, so you might as well make it a good one. :lolabove:

maintain my body fat % and get up to 215, I am at 205 right now with 10% body fat and I want to get up to 215, 10%. It would be hard to do but thats my goal.

As a regular exerciser I can say that I really hate this time of year. Every year myself and the other "diehards" are forced to endure the January onslaught of resolution people who crowd-out the YMCA every morning and every afternoon. After 15+ years of observing this phenomenon I can tell you that over 50% of them will quit before then end of January and at least 90% will have given up by the end of February. If it is your goal to lose weight I wish you luck and my only advise is to not burn youself out. Take it slow and build up to a reasonable level of activity at your own pace. Diet on weekdays and enjoy yourself for at least 1 or 2 meals on the weekends. If the weather is nice try to be active. Do some hiking, biking, canoeing, or maybe join an adult sports league. Don't rely on your workout alone for fitness.

Thats sounds like solid advice VH. I too worked out 3-4 days a week for years then stopped. Fortunately I have a treadmill, steel weights, bench, at home plus 3 sons to motivate me.

Maybe our resolutions should be to accept ourselves the way we are and be thankful that we have so many blessings.

Sounds good. I'll be honest and say that my primary motivation for trying to live healthy is that I want to live a long time. Any aesthetic by-product is just a bonus.

Take the bass boat out to the lake more, work on the pecs, read the Bible more, and pay off a couple credit cards.

I would say it is to drop some body fat. Since I got back to the States I have put on a good amount of weight (muscle + fat) so I want to drop some % before I return
