By the way I had a distant cousin nearly die in Alabama
recently. He was riding in the bed of a pick-up truck that ran off in a lake. He nearly drowned before he could get the tailgate down.

You're probably right, the dummy should know if you're driving close to a lake like that you should already have the tailgate loosened up just in case.

Now his Daddy is real smart though, after the accident he moved the family 10 miles away.................he read where most accidents happen within 5 miles of home. Ain't run in a lake since. Course don't drive by one anymore either.
