By that time all the conference title games will have been played and all the coaches we have been looking at will be getting ready for their respective bowl games...I believe if it was Kiffin they would have already announced it so He could be on the recruiting trail...It's going to be Leach or Kelly I have a feeling although there could be a surprise in that bunch...Who knows?

By mid December we can hire away other head coaches, since it'll be after Championship Week.

Kiffin would not already be hired because Hamilton wants to make sure he makes the right choice. I think hes looking at all the possible candidates, but i think its gonna be kiffin.

If leach loses this weekend to OU and OU wins out then most likely Tech would have the lowest BCS total and be left out of the championship game. That would mean that UT can go ahead and try to bring in Leach

i agree 100%. i think that hammy doesn't want the announcement to over shadow (any more than it already has) the last two games phil has. i also think that is the reason he is being fairly quiet about this whole ordeal. there is no reason to announce the new guy to the general public just yet... i'm sure they feel who they name will be big enough to salvage what is left of the recruiting class, and to possibly bring a few more guys in.

I will be happy with most of the names in the search. Butch Davis is the one I am excited about.

That is exactly what Hamilton is going to do. I know this for sure. Don't count ANYONE out no matter when the "announcement date" is supposed to be.
