Depends on the uni. The blacks were never button up, but looked and fit great. Did have a button collar.

Which is news, as lots of concern Adidas would mess it up. Looks like they are sticking to what works. No question, the last 7 years produced the best looking baseball unis we’ve ever had. Remember how awful those units were when Helton was here.

That is not going to happen. Welcome to 2026. They will unbutton it as low as the umpires will let them. I do agree with you. Told son that. To no avail. To his credit he had one jersey that had 2 top buttons missing and took half the season to get them sown back on.

My major questions were the caps. Big Adidas logo answered the question and they look clean and light like the Nike aeros.

Hope they are available to public consumption before Christmas.

I have seen that Adidas through fall due to timing but team is ultimately going to use New Era.

Question: Do the players prefer their jerseys unbuttoned for reasons of heat venting... or to allow less restricted movement in the arms and across the upper chest?

For whichever reason, a design solution would seem to be in order, without sacrificing traditional aesthetics or camera appeal..

I'm guessing it just looks cool in their minds. Kirby did have some that were very tight across the chest and he felt constricted. The problem is sometimes you get what you get.

Again, would prefer a black cap with all uniforms with the interlocking UT but the orange works.
