Earlier I heard on some football game Dallas was playing that Jason Whitten was retiring after this season. Don't ask me when, there is so much babbling in the games now I couldn't tell you when or where.I'm an optimist. Maybe he has some coaches that haven't told everyone their leaving yet. Cough cough Tosh Lapoi, I expect a good WR coach and a good ILB coach hire in our future. Plus another offensive administrative job like Steve sarkisian. But not SS lol.
Who else do you guys think? I am excited about the alleged hires so far and think recruiting has been an emphasis.
Anyone think he's not filling the staff at this point because that would negate Fullmer's ability to recruit?
Can we please stop with the secret fulmer plot bs? There is no evidence beyond the first article that accuses PF of any underhandedness and that one might as well been written by currie and haslam themselves. Have you ever thought that maybe PF was asked by JP to help him? i mean he did kind of publicly say he would be consulting his boss.
I wish Utsports.com would update the assistant coaches list or at least, remove the old ones who are now gone and are coaching elsewhere.............
WTF? I posted nothing, at all, about any secret Fulmer BS.
I think the Fulmer hire was a great idea. I was simply positing that, to Coach Pruitt, there may be a value in not formally filling the coaching staff so that Fulmer can continue to actively recruit.
My apologies then, i have seen too many commenters suggesting that fulmer has his hands in everything and is trying to re-live his coaching days by controlling too much with the program now, i interpreted your comment to be suggesting that so there we are. Sorry again, I just dont see how they think Pruitt is that much of a pushover to allow it, or why they think fulmer is trying to be anything more than a legendary coach that went on to be a successful ad that helped bring his alma mater back to glory.
