I currently don't want Tennessee to hire any coach or staff. I absolutely think the best course of action is to replace Currie before he can talk to another candidate and install Blackburn as the athletic director. Then take a breath and restart the search. The current model of talking to a new candidate every few hours, which we used in 2010 and 2012, is absolutely idiotic. This is the worst possible time to rush, and it seems like we think the best course of action is to not think anything through.

Of course we'd take that but it's another fantasy. The HOH is determined to hire Doeren in the middle of the night as a giant middle finger at the other boosters and the fans. TN will slide further to the bottom of the SEC. How long would we have to suck to get kicked out of the conference?

Yeah, do like Ole Miss. Hire Fulmer as Intrim for one year. Give the NEW AD time to let things cool down, get Haslam barred from the UTAD, and let the the bleeding get stopped. Then, around the end of next season, hire a good, solid coach after all the hubbub has died down.
