Yes you can resell PSLs.

I'm sure they can gain value. My only experience is with Titans PSLs, so I wouldn't know.

Hotel taxes in some cities are ridiculous. You're paying the state tax on top of whatever the local "occupancy" tax is making the total tax rate 15% and up. I know when I travel to Memphis for work the total tax rate is right at 16%.

Here in CT we've got 15% state hotel tax plus local options. Seems as if ATL may have been one of the few places you weren't getting fleeced.

Vikings stadium: Retractable roof stats - NFL Nation Blog - ESPN

Each team has had its reasons for closing the roof. The Colts have a rule that requires them to close the roof in weather under 40 degrees. The Texans consider opening the roof when temperatures are between 50 and 80 degrees. Former Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner, meanwhile, preferred the roof closed for competitive reasons.

Does it make sense to add $25 million-$50 million to a $975 million project, plus higher annual operation and maintenance fees, for technology that historically has been used for three games per season, on average? Ultimately, that's the analysis that Vikings owner Zygi Wilf will consider in making a final decision.

I would assume the weather may be a bit more hospitable in Atlanta than in Minnesota. They may open the roof more often.

The roof will probably be open most of the time for Falcons games. Arthur Blank wanted an open-air stadium to begin with. The city/state wanted the roof added because they need it to keep/attract more of the other events, like the Final Four.

And concerts, potential super bowls, etc.

I think it's reasonable. The extra cost could be earned back within a decade.

Apparently having a roof on the stadium is a big reason the SECCG has made Atlanta a permanent home. I'm glad to see a retractable roof just for that.

Interesting. On one side, I don't like it when anybody gets cute with their designs (see Tennessee's campus and 70s architecture). But I also somewhat like both of them. And then I also don't. What is the point of a retractable roof when absolutely noone can see the sky (see first design)?

I think they are in for some disappointment on the PSLs. These are smart business guys, but I just don't think they'll get what they will be asking for.

1st I've heard of this. Wonder if the SECCG will be there now. Like many have said, they didn't even need a new stadium.
