New song: Orange and White-Conner Smith

There are certain lines from both Orange and White and I Hate Alabama that really hit home. Not a fan of this type of music but I can appreciate he writes his own music and puts actual life lessons or memories in his songs

Did you like old school country? Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Conway Twitty, Loretta Lyn, Patsy Cline, etc.?

I'm not a fan of it in the sense that I go out of my way to listen to it. I guess I do respect those old school country artists because at least they lived what they wrote and sang about.

I've never been a huge fan of the country songwriting style in the sense that every song seems to be written like I'm reading somebody's Facebook post. The lyrics are so straight forward and many of them are about such mundane things I couldnt care less about. Couple that with twangy fiddles, mandolins, steel guitars, etc and I just tune out. The closest I get to country is southern rock. I do like a lot of southern rock and while lyrically most of its not going to challenge your intellect, at least a lot of it is packaged in some kick ass music.

What the honest HELL, Conner Smith?:!?!?!?!?

First you date (and get dumped by) a Bama girl, THEN you start dating a Dawg fan!

Son, you need to pay more attention to all these beautiful lasses right here in East Tennessee.

I expect better in your next song. Probably gonna be released next August. lol, you do have good timing with these football & love song releases.

THIS! Now, I’m married to a man who doesn’t follow college ball whatsoever but he supports my fandom. However, I could never, and I mean EVER date a Bama, dawg, or gator fan. 🤮
