With the sec expanding to 14 if we could gain 2 more bowl ties what bowls would you like to see picked up?

I was curious about that as well, though I'm not sure they'd really expand it to more than 1 extra guaranteed bid (putting the conference at 9 or 10...can't recall at the moment)

Probably would take a big 12 or big east tie-in bowl away from either conference most than likely. But an interesting topic for around summer time or so

Good question OP. With the expansion to 14 and keeping 8 league games, I can definitely see 10 or maybe more being bowl qualified. When they set the league schedule to 9 games not so much. So, I don't think bowls will be willing to add an automatic bid until we know for sure how many league games we will be playing.

It would be nice to see the Rose Bowl opened up to other conferances. I thought the Sugar Bowl took the highest ranked SEC team. michigan or any other big ten or pac 10 team shouldn't be allowed to play in other BCS bowls until the Rose Bowl is opened to all BCS schools. Double standard. :ermm:

It's because you have 2 SEC teams playing for the title, any other year one of those teams plays in the Sugar bowl. I'm sure if the PAC-12 ever has 2 teams play for the title, the rose bowl wil bring in a non big 10 or PAC-12 team

I want to see an SEC/PAC 12 bowl game. Don't know how it hasn't happened yet.

I'll second this. Living in Oregon, I'm so tired of all the little duckies pi**ing and moaning about "east coast bias". Would love the opportunity for a regularly scheduled beat down by an SEC opponent to shut them up.

What about the champs sports bowl?

they repeat the commercials too much. One commercial over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over.

They're not looking to add a bowl at the present time. The SEC has only filled all of their slots twice in the last 5 years.

There are also several bowls with one or more unattached slots that would jump at an extra SEC team without having to commit to a tie-in.

Hawaii Bowl!

They better make it happen

That pinstripe bowl in NYC and its timing - the team and travelling fans getting to celebrate new years eve in New York city - has actually become kind of appealing the more I've thought about it

Weather always has potential to suck though
