Just show Chavis the defensive stats from this year while you're trying to explain to him why he's not getting a raise...
I like Chavis but I would also ask him to show me his options on leaving if the OC makes more money. You can only make "or else" demands to the extent you can find someone else to pay you the money you demand.
no, because one day he may threaten CPF's throne.
just my 2 cents
This has been the general consensus on this board with regard to Mr. Hatcher. But I have to respectfully disagree.
Why would fulmer be threatened? He's like 59 or something, right? From what I understand, Fulmer would like to leave coaching while he is still able to control his stool movements (cf. Joe Pa). Perhaps 5 more years (just an estimate). Hiring a bright, up-and-coming coach will help fulmer win games and keep his job during these final years so that he can voluntarily step down (i.e. not get fired).
If anything, I think that fulmer -- at this stage of his career -- is now in the position where he would most benefit from hiring a smart young coach.
Not making light of the man but there was nothing funnier than him sprinting to the bathroom during that game last year to go to the bathroom.
Lord knows, I've galloped to the throne back in my high school days, it just wasn't on ESPN.
