Can someone explain to me in Layman's terms how to get this revamped mod for the game? I have an Xbox 360 and I also have a computer.

The XBOX requires a hardware mod and that's why I went with PC. I don't know either what it would cost for the mod or who I would get to do it.

The PC version requires: a good PC, the RPCS3 emulator program, a physical copy of NCAA 14 (PS3), a program to extract the .ISO of the game off the disc, I think you need the update for NCAA 14 which can be downloaded for free online, and then the CFB Revamped game file. The CFBR page can walk you through all of it. The whole process took me about half a day because I had never worked with RPCS3 before and you've got to tinker with settings quite a bit.

You need the .iso off of the physical disc. There is a program out there to extract it off the disc. If you look hard enough you can probably find the .iso online, with the disclaimer, of course, being that you should own the physical disc, for legal reasons.
