I have been reading Volnation forum for almost a year now - probably started about this same time last year, getting excited about the upcoming season.

Was born and grew up in Knoxville. My Dad was a history professor at UT for 30 years and retired a few years ago. I moved to Louisville, KY in 1998, but get back to Knoxvegas pretty frequently.

Hi, I'm David, and I'm a Volaholic.
I signed up for this board as a method to prolong my addiction and to gain valuable insight. Also to talk smack to the gator fans who I am sure are here. I live in West Tennessee, but formerly lived 7 years in Knoxville. Ex wife (not ex at the time) attended UT from 98-99 so I went to all the home games those seasons along with the SEC champ game in 98. I have never seen the Vols lose a game that I attended. Basketball too. They never lost when I was there. Lady Vols is another story. They not only lost every game I went to, but they got SPANKED.
I realize I have a problem and I admit that I am powerless to overcome my addiction. Nor do I have to desire to do so. 12 step program? I think not.
