New maps for COD 4 Delayed

The maps are awesome. Chinatown is a freaking maze, but fun.

On Creek i ended up going with a G36/Dragunov combo with Overkill, simply because the village part of the map is drastically different than the rest. It's actually a fun map to play sniper/countersniper type matches with, though the lay of the land makes it a pain in the ass for Domination.

I haven't seen killhouse yet

Maps are a waist of money. Killhouse isnt even available unless u do cage match. U can only play those 3 maps over and over.

Save your money guys. This is a joke.

I'm feeling the same at the moment... maybe once they add the maps to the regular rotation. I just want to play domination dammit.

yeah I want to play those on domination...I did play some team deathmatch on them after we played last night...got killed on Creek playing against a team of snipers..I switched to overkill so I could snipe and spray and pray but I suck at sniping :)

I'm a terrible sniper too. I set up a class with an ACOG on the M16 for Creek, but that didn't seem to help much.

You've got to be extremely patient to be an effective sniper in this game. If you're looking to rack up kills, being a sniper ain't for you!

Add to that the fact one isn't even a new board. Chinatown is just a re-make of an old CoD map.

Guys china town is an exact replica of a COD3 map usind different backgrounds and buildings.

i just watched all the new maps on youtube. chinatown looks like garbage. wasn't impressed with any of them. i see why everyone snipes on Creek

There is a basement porn video store in Chinatown that is pretty cool. But I am still very disappointed.


To give all the hype about game of the year, they dropped the ball.

Why do we need another map for stupid campers to dominate on? Really horrible. I'm gonna hit some Tiger.

I won't be buying any more maps for any other games EVER. I will wait for them to be free so all the other guys can piss and moan about them and that they paid money for them. Right now I am one of those guys and I am not happy with the maps.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about, I like the new maps. Creek seems to be good with HQ,sabotage, The China town was alot of fun too. Maybe its just me but I do not think that they are that bad. The TV station was great too.

The biggest problem is the $10 price tag for three maps... one which is a sniperfest (creek), one which is just a copy of a COD3 map (chinatown), and one that was already in the game to begin with (broadcast).


I do like Broadcast, but the others have left me indifferent.

Well from what you guys are saying I may lay off these. Broadcast looked pretty cool to me. The others ones I wasn't so sure of. Anyway I'll have 4 weeks or so to think about it.

it doesn't have the xbox live community which i'll give credit to microsoft for that, but i still wouldn't trade my ps3 for a 360
