To each his/her own. Things like this, including fireworks, don't do anything for me.

No one has done a choreographed light show to match what the band is doing on the field...think of it like a Pink Floyd concert with a marching band instead of a rock band.

I would venture to say no one watching on TV would see the halftime show. They have not been showing halftime since 1971.

Well, here's the thing, Higgy, I wasn't talking about you. See, the planet's celestial motion is governed by gravity. Its rotation is due to the very ancient result of forces exerted on debris ejected by Sol's birth, and the Mars sized planetary mass that struck the young planet a sort of glancing blow later on. None of us, you included, have naught to do with Earth's circular motions. Meanwhile, it's nice to see the UT has an AD who not only respects the school's traditions, but lends his ear to fans. Though, that, too, isn't why Earth's motion exists.

I just love helping my fellow Vols fans.

True...wish they would show some of the half-time march on TV.
Guess TV is too invested in on-air 'talent' and needing to have continuous updates from other games during half-time...I would say to get in more commercials, but good lord they have enough of those during the game already!!!

A palpable hue of excitement hangs over East TN for the aforementioned light show.

Some people also want to watch the game as well.

Go check out ESPN+. They have a halftime feed for a lot of games.
